It supports a maximum direct connection of 100A, which means that you do not need to connect an external current transformer for this energy meter to operate. This makes it cost effective and less complex to use than other energy meters. The built-in interfaces provide two pulse outputs, one of which is configurable, indicating the real-time energy measurement, and an RS-485 Modbus output for communication using the Modbus RTU protocol.
