Antique Treen Wooden Butter Stamp Floral Carved Mould Press A decorative vintage wooden butter stamp or butter mould press, likely early to mid-20th century, with a carved floral and leaf design to the rectangular face. The mould has a turned wooden handle to the reverse and would originally have been used to impress a decorative pattern into butter. It is a lovely piece of country kitchenalia and treen, with a warm honey-coloured patina and attractive hand-carved detail. The floral panel makes it especially decorative, ideal for display in a farmhouse kitchen, dresser, pantry, rustic interior or antique treen collection. The front has three flower heads with leaves, framed by carved borders and leaf decoration to each side. A very pretty and usable display piece with strong decorative appeal. ConditionGood antique condition with age-related wear and darker patches to the wood, as shown. The carved face remains well defined.
