Description (from PDP, plain text)
Antique Victorian Twin Roll Dispenser Stand – Cast Iron & Oak, c.1890s A rare and decorative antique English twin roll dispenser stand, dating to the late Victorian era (circa 1890s). This beautifully crafted industrial piece features pierced cast iron side supports in an Art Nouveau style, paired with solid oak shelving. Originally used in general stores, outfitters, or workshops to hold kraft paper, fabric, or twine, it now makes an excellent display piece or practical studio fixture. The twin-level design accommodates two separate rolls, each with a spring-loaded cutting bar. Both dispensers remain functional with original fittings intact. The oak top and base shelves provide warm contrast and are ideal for display or light storage. Dimensions L:59.5cm x W:19.2cm x H:59.5cm ConditionVery good antique condition overall. The decorative cast iron sides retain a rich, aged patina with areas of surface rust and wear, all in keeping with its age and use. The solid oak shelves display minor scuffs, a small area of red pen marking, and what appears to be a historic water stain, but remain sturdy and full of character. The spring-loaded mechanisms are intact and operate smoothly. A striking and functional piece of English shopfitting history, rarely found in this twin-tier format.
