Boxed Set of 12 Vintage Concave Glass Christmas Decorations A beautiful collection of 12 vintage mercury-glass Christmas tree decorations, dating from around the 1950s–1960s. Each decoration features a deeply recessed concave centre designed to reflect the Christmas lights. The set includes eight rounded decorations and four elongated finial-shaped decorations, decorated in a lively mixture of red, green, turquoise, purple, yellow, silver and cream. Several have hand-painted leaf, stripe and flower details, while others have brightly coloured flower-like centres. Together, they make a particularly attractive and varied vintage set. All 12 metal caps are present, and the decorations are presented in a vintage compartmented cardboard box. ConditionAll decorations are in very good vintage condition.There is some expected age-related wear, including areas of fading, tarnishing, discolouration and loss to the painted and silvered finishes. The metal caps have some tarnishing. The vintage cardboard box has age-related wear, marks, old tape and writing on the lid. Its internal cardboard dividers also show some wear and misshaping.
