Boxed Set of 12 Vintage Mercury Glass Christmas DecorationsA wonderfully colourful collection of 12 vintage blown-glass Christmas tree decorations, dating from around the 1950s–1960s. The assorted designs include pinecones, textured rounds, a Christmas tree, a basket and an unusual square lantern-shaped decoration. Their jewel-like colours include bright pink, turquoise blue, red, green, orange, gold and silver, with glittered and hand-painted details. The decorations retain their original-style metal caps and are presented in a vintage compartmented cardboard box. ConditionVintage condition with the expected age-related fading, tarnishing and losses to the painted, silvered and glittered finishes. The green pinecone decoration has a crack around the neck. The red Christmas-tree-shaped decoration has a small hole in one side, shown clearly in the photographs. The other ten decorations are free from cracks and breaks. All 12 metal caps are present. The cardboard box has general age-related marks, spotting, wear and some misshaping to the compartments and edges. Please study all photographs carefully, as these form an important part of the condition description.
