EcoFlow STREAM DIY Cable - 5m length. In the UK it's a legal requirement to connect an EcoFlow STREAM Microinverter to your home wiring by means of a fused spur. Although not visible in the photo, the cable includes live, neutral and earth cables. To comply with UK wiring regulations, the STREAM DIY cable (which connects the inverter output to the home 230V wiring) must be connected to a fused spur - the white box shown to the right of the sockets in the photo below. Inside this box, the cable should pass through a 13A fuse and switch before being connected to one of the home circuits. In the photo, it is connected to the same circuit that powers the adjacent socket, but the installation does not need to be next to a socket. A blank plate can also be used to replace an existing socket. The owner should add a warning label to the wire and the fuse board, see the images. Suggested warnings are: For the cable: WARNING: SOURCE OF POWER. DISCONNECT IF YOU NEED TO DE-ENERGISE THIS CIRCUIT For the main board: TO DE-ENERGISE THIS CIRCUIT, SWITCH OFF THE FUSED SPUR CONNECTED TO ECOFLOW STREAM
