Collection of Dewhurst Sylko Machine Twist Thread Boxes – 1920s to 1970sA collection of eight vintage Dewhurst Sylko Machine Twist thread boxes, spanning five decades of British sewing history. 3 boxes date from the 1920s–30s, featuring the earlier “Silk Substitute” branding 4 boxes are from the 1950s, showing classic mid-century design 1 box dates from the 1954–70s, marked with the later “Polyester” branding Each box once held high-quality machine twist thread and showcases the evolving branding, typography, and packaging styles of the Dewhurst Sylko range.
