Victorian Mother of Pearl Thread Winder – Engraved Rosette with Central Motif c.1850 An exceptional example of 19th-century sewing ware, this finely carved mother of pearl thread winder features a rosette shape with beautifully scalloped edges and a delicately engraved floral motif. The central design includes a fine image of a bird in flight among flora, all carved by hand. A rare and decorative piece, perfect for collectors of sewing antiques.
