Its rich in a variety of flavonoids and polyphenolic compounds, which may contribute to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. Instructions for Use: The potent and sweet flavour of star anise pairs well with savoury dishes such as soups, stews, curries and braises, adding a contrasting liquorice-like taste to dishes.
