Description (from PDP, plain text)
Replacement 9-Watt Quartz Sleeve for Pondmaster G2 UV Clarifiers The quartz sleeve in a UV clarifier separates the UV bulb from direct contact with water while allowing UV light to pass through for algae elimination. When the sleeve clouds, chips, or cracks, UV transmission drops and your clarifier loses effectiveness even with a new bulb installed. This replacement sleeve restores full UV transmission for 9-watt G2-generation Pondmaster UV clarifiers, including a flat gasket to ensure a watertight seal at the black neck fitting. Wattage 9W Generation G2 (black neck fitting) Includes Quartz sleeve, flat gasket Compatible With Pondmaster G2 9-watt UV clarifiers Replace When Sleeve is clouded, cracked, or pitted; UV performance is declining How to Use Shut off and unplug the UV clarifier. Install the new sleeve with the flat gasket at the black neck connection, ensuring the gasket seats evenly before reassembling. Plug in and confirm the bulb illuminates through the new sleeve. Replace the quartz sleeve annually even if it appears undamaged, clouding can be gradual and invisible to the eye. Fits Pondmaster G2 9-watt UV clarifiers only. Confirm unit generation (black neck fitting) before ordering. For G2 36-watt units, see PM-15852.
