Primitive Folk Art Wooden Duck Decoy Hand Carved British 37cm A striking vintage hand carved wooden duck decoy with strong primitive character and beautifully aged original painted surface. This expressive carving features a deeply curved neck, elongated bill, and sculptural body form typical of traditional British folk art decoys. The surface retains remnants of its original dark painted finish, now worn through decades of age and handling to reveal warm underlying wood tones and rich patina. Hand carved feather detailing remains visible on the back and tail, with simple painted wing markings and stippled texture to the neck and breast adding to its visual interest.
