Vintage Mid Century Jack Frost Christmas Crackers Box A wonderfully colourful original box of vintage Jack Frost Christmas crackers, dating to approximately the 1950s/60s. The long rectangular box has particularly striking period graphics, with a bright blue background decorated with stars, coloured baubles and an illustrated Jack Frost figure, together with bold red and yellow lettering reading “Jack Frost Crackers – Full of Good Things”. Inside is a charming group of red and silver crackers, decorated with colourful paper gnome figures in different poses. The crackers remain arranged within their original box and appear unused. A fabulous piece of mid-century Christmas ephemera, particularly appealing for its colourful original packaging and wonderfully nostalgic festive graphics. ConditionIn good vintage condition with age-related wear throughout. There are eleven out of twelve original crackers. One is missing its gnome cut out picture. The outer box has general surface marks, rubbing, minor creasing and wear to the edges and corners. The crackers remain present within the box but show some age-related wear to the paper and foil coverings, including small tears, creases, lifting and losses in places. There are also loose threads visible within the box that were originally used to keep the crackers in place. The contents have not been tested or opened. Due to their age, these crackers are being sold strictly as a vintage collectable and decorative item and not for use.
