Vintage Sphinx Spark Plug Tin – Green Lithographed Advertising Box – British ManufactureA rare and collectible vintage spark plug advertising tin for Sphinx Spark Plugs, finished in green lithographed print with gold and orange detailing. The lid features the iconic sphinx logo with sunburst rays and the words “Sphinx – Registered Trade Mark.”The sides carry strong period slogans including “England’s Most Durable Plug,” “Guaranteed All British – Without Time Limit,” and “British Manufacture.” Originally used to hold Sphinx spark plugs, this tin is an excellent piece of early British motoring memorabilia. Compact in size and with bold graphics, it makes a superb display item for collectors of automobilia, garage advertising, or motoring history.ConditionGood vintage condition with age-related surface wear, scratches, and light rubbing to the paint. The lithography remains bold and colourful, with the sphinx motif and slogans clear and legible.
