These bears are very well made but due to their joints and the added weight, they are not meant to be thrown around or rough-housed with. The weight is added to the main body of the bear, not the extremities. They were made for cuddling and resting peacefully. These bears bring a sense of peace and calm to the body when they are laid on a person's chest, as they reset the body's autonomic system into a rest mode.
